The German DJ/producer experienced a rapid growing in the house and techno music scene. Going through several music genres in his teenage years, he started DJing in clubs throughout Germany in 2009. Soon his passion for music leaded him to get into his own productions. When releasing his first EP in 2012, Alex van Ratingen made his debut in London. Gaining the support by some of the most popular house music artists such as tINI, Randall M, Chad Andrew, David Gtronic, P. Jones and Scott Kemp he also dares a step behind the DJ/producer certain. In 2013 Augustus Gloop and Alex van Ratingen announce the label “Steppers & Sleepers” – a label born from the depths of its owners somewhat fortuitous necessity to blend together all things curious and wondrous.
